Located in the heart of the city’s financial and business hub, the office space of The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (formerly CIMA) occupies the entire third floor of London’s iconic Helicon Building in South Place, EC2.
With a rich history behind them, the Association has designed a workplace fit for a new era, seizing the opportunity of its relocation in 2014 to completely rethink and transform its work-life culture, to super-serve the needs of its 250 staff.
With a variety of cool informal breakout settings and coffee bars throughout, visitors could easily be forgiven for thinking they had just walked into the working home of a leading ad agency or tech business. Step off the lift at the third floor and the space is open, bright, professional and contemporary, with clever pops of colour adding even more energy. Staff and visitors will also be spoilt for choice with a variety of collaboration spaces, meetings rooms, and big open-plan spaces with spacious, clutter-free workstations.
With the modern design of the workplace taking full advantage of the building’s architecture, with timber-slatted ceilings and full length windows, this space clearly works – and gives a clear message to anyone who visits the Association’s HQ; this is an ambitious and forward-looking institute.
