The Wellbeing Workplace – how to implement smart and sustainable planning and design solutions
November 15, 2017 @ 08:30 - 10:00
Hosted by Kinnarps, experts in Interior Workspace Solutions
About the Event
As organisations look to retain talent and remain competitive and attractive, there is a critical need to provide an inspiring and enjoyable workplace that supports each employees’ health and wellbeing.
Recognised for their forward-thinking spirit, innovation and creativity, expert providers of interior workspace solutions, Kinnarps, will host a dedicated session to explore this thinking, with valuable insight from two of the organisations’ in-house senior business leaders.
Johanna Lundgren, Sustainability Manager will present Pure Materials – an engaging and thought provoking study that considers the risks of specifying furniture and fabrics that could be harmful, both to employee health and the wider environment. Johanna will emphasise the importance of considering the long term when making smart and sustainable planning and design decisions – this includes everything from the raw materials we use to the way we design and manufacture our products.
Thomas White, Head of Design in the UK will later present an alternative process to incorporating clever, creative and effective planning and design solutions, that will serve to create a more positive and agile workplace that prioritises greater wellbeing and an authentic sense of belonging.
Kinnarps is a firm believer and advocate of the importance of making sound design and planning choices to inspire and engage your workforce. Whether you are responsible for Facilities Management, HR or Workplace Strategy, the session will provoke thoughtful debate and offer a new perspective to delivering workplace wellbeing.
