Leap and the Net Shall Appear: How PwC was one of the first to execute its global RTW Strategy | A corporate case-study presented by PwC London
The 29-year-old London HQ of professional services firm PwC, located at Embankment Place, is globally renowned as being one of the most iconic, energy efficient and environmentally friendly offices in the UK, winning the 2019 British Council for Office’s (BCO) National Awards’ ‘Test of Time’ category and achieving the highest ever Outstanding BREEAM ranking.
Being forced to quickly close their offices due to Covid-19 virtually overnight like everyone else was easy enough for PwC to do, having long since adopted an agile working style fortified by cutting edge technology – but quite another to safely reopen. Yet amazingly, they did just that, reopening Embankment Place only 3 months later on June 22 of this year – one of the first offices to do so.
How were they able to take such a leap? By creating their own safety net. Wasting no time, PwC convened a Board-Level OpCo to act as a steering committee overseeing the collaborative planning efforts of Business Leads, Workplace Services, Procurement, and IT.
Join this multi-disciplined team to learn how they utilized real time data to inform their decision making process, and employed creative provisioning, planning and communications to so quickly welcome both employees and clients back to Embankment Place. All while ensuring the safety of staff and visitors as a top priority and maintaining the qualities that initially made it such a destination place.
