The term ‘smart building’ traditionally refers to construction that allows the hosted people and processes to be at their best. In 2020, the year of Covid-19, smart building technology is critical to enabling a safe return to work. Using the latest smart building innovations, all technologies, systems and processes now have the power to work together to enable this critical step and bring back people to their offices in a safe and secure way.

Join Michael de Straschnov, Head of Business Development at Siemens Western Switzerland, who will share valuable insight into the different solutions put into place to support 100,000 employees of the organization, spanning 600 locations to support their journey to a ‘new normal’.

Michael will explain how the latest systems can allow better and more efficient communication, between colleagues and equipment, using Siemen’s very own headquarters as a great example of innovation at work. The session will also consider the organization’s mid-term vision on how further developments will allow enhancing employee’s experience around the globe.
