“The Earth is a Fine Place and Worth Fighting For”* – The Positive Impact of Agile Work on personal and global footprints

We agree with *Papa (Ernest) Hemingway. And lately, the birds do seem to be chirping more, the air seems fresher, and we can get a seat on the subway. But wait, there’s more! How we work and where we work impacts on carbon. Buildings and their construction together account for 36 percent of global energy use and 39 percent of energy-related carbon dioxide emissions annually, according to the United Nations Environment Program.

In this fourth Cornerstone event, AWA will host Strategic Workplace thought-leader Chris Hood and environmental expert Mauro Cozzi of Emitwise to discuss how changes in work behaviors not only offer workers more flexibility but also reduce carbon emissions and improve the sustainability of the business.

This session will connect employees growing passion for “doing the right thing” with the realistic expectations for a more distributed workforce and will also demonstrate how organisations can easily track emissions from a range of activities to allow them to take actions to meet their long term environmental goals.
